Youth ministry hosts evening of laughterApril 15, 2019
JASPER — The St. John Bosco Youth Ministry will host “Nuns4Fun” for an evening of laughs as they put on a one-woman show on Sunday, May 19. Proceeds support the growing efforts of the ministry.
Vicki Quade, creator of the hit comedy “Late Nite Catechism,” brings to life a new comedy, “Bible Bingo: An Act of Charity ... in Two Acts.”
The new show is about the Catholic culture of fundraising and bingo.
In this interactive comedy, the parish needs money and the Archdiocese has a new bingo department. Bring the two together and the people will have a night of Bible trivia, audience interaction, improvised moments, and the funniest quiz about the Holy Family they’ve ever seen. Add to that a box of wacky prizes, fun bingo cards, and Catholic humor. In this interactive bingo show, people will actually play bingo, and still learn a little something about what it means to be Catholic. The show gets the audience talking about everything from Adam and Eve to modern sins.
