Youth council calling on artists

JASPER — The Jasper Mayor’s Youth Leadership Council is looking for a local artist to paint an interactive mural on the side of the Kerstiens Building at 215 S. Mill St. in Jasper.
The mural will celebrate the diversity in the community through bubbles.
The artist will be paid and will also be provided money for supplies.
The mural is expected to be completed this summer.
Artists should send a portfolio of two to three work samples and a resume to Emily Peak at visualarts@jasperindiana.gov. The deadline to apply is 11:59 p.m. April 10.
