JASPER — Police called for two tow trucks after a car-versus-pickup truck collision Tuesday afternoon at Kellerville Road and 15th Street.
Patricia Hess, 74, Jasper, was southbound on Kellerville Road in a 2008 Ford Taurus at the time of the 1:14 p.m. mishap, according to the Jasper Police Department.
Police said Hess turned left into the path of a 2007 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck driven by Alex Hurst, 38, Jasper, causing the vehicles to collide.
Damage was estimated at $3,000 to the Hess Ford and $2,000 to the Hurst Chevrolet.
Wreckers from Uebelhor & Sons and Stork Service Center assisted.
