KYANA — A wrecker was needed after a deer-versus-minivan collision Thursday evening in the Kyana area.
Tyler L. Jeffries, 27, Jasper, was westbound on State Road 64 in a 2003 Dodge Caravan when the 7:39 p.m. accident occurred west of Kyana Road, according to the Dubois County Sheriff’s Office.
A deputy said the Jeffries Dodge collided with a deer that came onto the highway from the south.
Damage was estimated between $2,500 and $5,000, according to the sheriff’s office.
A Berg’s Garage wrecker towed the Dodge because of disabling damage.
