HOLLAND — A wrecker was needed after a vehicle went into a ditch south of Holland on Sunday morning.
Skylar C. Berger, 18, Holland, was northbound on State Road 161 in a 2003 Volkswagen when the 8:42 a.m. mishap occurred south of County Road 1025S, according to the Dubois County Sheriff’s Office.
Berger told a deputy she fell asleep at the wheel, causing her to lose control of the vehicle. The Volkswagen stopped off the east side of the highway after striking a ditch.
Damage was estimated between $2,500 and $5,000.
