ST. ANTHONY — A wrecker was called to the scene after a pickup-truck-versus-deer collision Thursday morning just west of St. Anthony.
Nathan E. Reckelhoff, 39, Kyana, was westbound on State Road 64 in a 2016 Chevrolet Silverado when the 6:34 a.m. accident occurred near Club Road, according to the Dubois County Sheriff’s Office.
A deputy said the Silverado’s airbags deployed when the truck collided with a deer that came onto the roadway from the south.
Damage was estimated between $5,000 and $10,000.
A Uebelhor & Sons wrecker assisted.
