CRYSTAL — A wrecker was needed when an SUV collided with a deer east of Crystal last week.
Karen S. Quinn, 56, French Lick, was westbound on State Road 56 in a 2010 Ford Explorer when the accident occurred 300 feet west of County Road 925E at 5:19 a.m. Monday, July 8, according to the Dubois County Sheriff’s Office.
A deputy said Quinn’s SUV collided with a deer that came onto the highway from the south.
Damage to the vehicle was estimated between $2,500 and $5,000.
A Uebelhor & Sons wrecker assisted because of disabling damage to the vehicle.
