HUNTINGBURG — No injuries were reported after a deer-versus-passenger car collision Tuesday morning just west of Huntingburg.
Sane J. Rich, 30, Huntingburg, was westbound on State Road 64 in a 2012 Ford Fusion when the 5:40 a.m. accident occurred at Lakeside Drive, according to the Dubois County Sheriff’s Department.
A deputy said Rich’s Fusion sustained front-end damage when it collided with a deer that came onto the highway from the south.
Damage was estimated between $2,500 and $5,000.
