Work planned for Newton Street

JASPER — The City of Jasper and its contractor will be doing a storm sewer replacement project on Newton Street, from Eighth to Ninth street, starting Monday.
The project will require lane closures, traffic pattern movements and intersection closures at times to facilitate the work, and the restrictions will be in effect during daytime and nighttime hours. The project is expected to last one week, weather permitting and barring any unforeseen circumstances.
