JASPER — A woman complained of pain after an SUV-versus-pedestrian accident Wednesday afternoon in the Dollar Tree parking lot.
The Jasper Police Department was called to the 3601 Newton St. location at 4:47 p.m.
Police said a 2018 GMC Terrain driven by Benjamin Drabing, 85, French Lick, pulled forward from a parking spot and struck Araceli Beltran, 28, Jasper. Beltran was trapped against a 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe during the incident and complained of hip pain, police said, but she declined to be transported for treatment.
Damage to the vehicles was estimated at $3,500 to the Drabing GMC and $1,000 to the Hyundai.
Memorial Hospital Emergency Medical Services assisted.
