Woman jailed on outstanding warrants

JASPER — The Jasper Police Department brought a woman to jail Friday morning on active warrants out of Dubois and Warrick counties.

In Dubois County, a warrant for the arrest of Adina N. Lopez, 40, 508 Village Court, Jasper, was issued June 26 after she failed to appear at a sentencing hearing in Dubois Superior Court after pleading guilty to Level 6 felony methamphetamine possession and misdemeanor possession of paraphernalia.

Lopez was also wanted on an active warrant out of Warrick County regarding a petition to revoke probation in a case in which she pleaded guilty to visiting a common nuisance.

Authorities booked Lopez into the Dubois County Security Center at 5:46 a.m. Friday on the active warrants.
