JASPER — Authorities booked a Jasper woman into the Dubois County Security Center Monday morning on a warrant issued after discoveries at her residence earlier this month.
The Dubois County Sheriff’s Office went to the 802 Hasenour Ave. residence of 43-year-old Brandi G. Leinenbach while checking on people with active body attachment warrants July 16.
A deputy reported smelling the odor of burnt marijuana and a later search of the residence located multiple items of drug paraphernalia, according to the sheriff’s office.
A warrant charging Leinenbach with a Level 6 felony count of maintaining a common nuisance and a misdemeanor count of possession of paraphernalia was issued July 18 out of Dubois Superior Court.
Leinenbach was booked into the security center at 6:10 a.m. Monday and, during an initial appearance in court, her next hearing was set for Aug. 21. Leinenbach posted bond early today.
