JASPER — Authorities brought a Spencer County woman to the Dubois County Security Center on Wednesday to serve out a sentence in a misdemeanor case.
Tessia L. Sargent, 36, 511 E. Medcalf St., Dale, pleaded guilty to misdemeanor inhaling toxic vapors in October and was sentenced to serve 30 days at the security center with the understanding the sentence would be consecutive to a sentence obligation she had to serve in Spencer County.
Dubois Superior Court placed a hold on Sargent to have her transported back to the Dubois County Security Center upon completion of her Spencer County matters. The Dubois County Sheriff’s Office booked Sargent into the security center at 5:28 p.m. Wednesday to begin her local sentence.
