Woman arrested for driving while suspended

JASPER — A Loogootee woman was arrested Thursday for driving while suspended.

Jasper Police Department officers conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of 10th and Newton streets. Moriah Yokem, 29, was found to be driving the vehicle. Yokem’s license was found to be suspended with a prior conviction of driving while suspended. Yokem was transported to the Dubois County Security Center and charged with driving while suspended prior, a Class A misdemeanor.
