JASPER — Police arrested a woman and accused her of domestic battery and intimidation Tuesday.
Jasper Police Department officers called to the 400 block of Sycamore Manor at 4 p.m. allege that Verna L. Winkler, 53, 436 Sycamore Manor, got into a physical altercation with a juvenile female.
Winkler allegedly struck the juvenile victim multiple times in the face, causing injury, and threw her to the ground, police said.
Police also report that Winkler struck a woman who attempted to intervene and made verbal threats toward others at the location.
Authorities booked Winkler into the Dubois County Security Center at 4:56 p.m. on preliminary misdemeanor counts of domestic battery and intimidation (two counts).
