Woman arrested after domestic incident

FERDINAND — An arrest followed a Sunday report of a domestic problem in the drive-thru of the Ferdinand McDonald’s restaurant.
Ferdinand Police Department officers called to the 25 Industrial Park Road location at 4:34 p.m. located a male with visible injury and a damaged vehicle that had been involved in the rolling domestic.
After investigating, police arrested and jailed Julia M. Cote, 64, Reno, Nevada.
During the arrest, police said a pipe with burnt marijuana residue was located in Cote’s purse.
Authorities booked Cote into the Dubois County Security Center on preliminary misdemeanor counts of domestic battery, criminal recklessness, disorderly conduct and possession of paraphernalia.
Police said a male who had been with Cote would be cited into court for disorderly conduct, criminal recklessness and criminal mischief. That individual’s identifying information was not immediately available.
The Dubois County Sheriff’s Office, a Berg’s Garage wrecker and Memorial Hospital Emergency Medical Services assisted.
