JASPER — A woman named in a warrant for allegedly failing to return to lawful detention turned herself in Saturday at the Dubois County Security Center.
Bambi R. Wyatt, 41, 4692 S. Second St., Velpen, was enrolled in a Dubois County Community Corrections work-release program when, on April 27, she failed to return as required to the center.
A Dubois Circuit Court warrant for her arrest was issued three days later.
Wyatt came to the security center where she was booked in at 8:03 p.m. Saturday on the warrant charging her with a Level 6 felony count of failure to return to lawful detention.
During an initial hearing Monday, court-appointed counsel was arranged to represent Wyatt, who was ordered held without bond.
