JASPER — Police arrested a woman for unauthorized entry of a vehicle and impaired driving Sunday evening.
A citizen contacted the Jasper Police Department at 7:23 p.m. to report an unknown, intoxicated female was inside his minivan at a 43rd Street apartment complex. While officers were en route, the woman got into another vehicle and left the scene.
Police located the 2014 Ford Fusion and conducted a traffic stop in the Germantown Shopping Center parking lot.
Officers determined the driver, Allison N. Doane, 35, 420 E. 14th St., Jasper, was under the influence of alcohol. Police said Doane’s blood alcohol content tested .186% in a blood draw at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center.
Authorities booked Doane into the Dubois County Security Center at 11:56 p.m. on preliminary misdemeanor counts of unauthorized entry of a motor vehicle and operating while intoxicated with a BAC over .15%.
