Woman accused of domestic battery

HUNTINGBURG — A Huntingburg-area woman was taken into custody early Sunday by police responding to the report of a physical domestic incident west of Huntingburg.

Dubois County Sheriff’s Office deputies responding to the 1:22 a.m. dispatch made contact with a male who had visible injury.

After investigating, police took Tealetha D. Motteler, 45, 5569 W. 750W, Huntingburg, into custody at the scene.

Authorities booked Motteler into the Dubois County Security Center at 2:47 a.m. Sunday on a preliminary misdemeanor count of domestic battery.
