WINSLOW — Three people were arrested early today when the Pike County Sheriff’s Department, acting with the assistance of the Pike County Prosecutor’s Office, executed a search warrant looking for drugs and other related items at the Winslow-area trailer of Roger Hume and Schuyler Hume at 280 E. Pike County Road 375S.
The Humes and Schuyler Hume’s girlfriend, Kayla S. Kell, of Oakland City, were placed under arrest.
The suspects’ ages were not immediately available. A probable cause affidavit said Kell was at the trailer visiting for a couple of days.
Authorities said deputies recovered 133 live marijuana plants growing inside the trailer. Numerous items of paraphernalia were also seized.
Roger and Schuyler Hume were preliminarily charged with Class D felony counts of cultivating marijuana, dealing marijuana and maintaining a common nuisance. Kell was preliminarily charged with a misdemeanor count of visiting a common nuisance.
Authorities said Kell’s bond was set at $3,500. No bond had as yet been set for the Humes at last report.
