JASPER — Winners for the 25th annual Juried Art Exhibit at the Krempp Gallery, Jasper Arts Center, were announced at the awards ceremony and reception on Sept. 6.

Best of show went to Ralph Larmann of Newburgh for his painting, “Suspension Valley.” Other local and regional winners were Mark Mullen, French Lick; Marti Plager, Louisville; Rodney Black, Terre Haute; Amy DeLap, Vincennes; Yichen Hu, Terre Haute; Brent Oglesbee, Bowling Green, Kentucky; Heather Sandy, Olney, Illinois.

This year’s judge for the show was John Begley, a Louisville artist, curator and former gallery director. He recently retired from the Hite Art Institute at the University of Louisville. To ensure fairness, judging is made without identifying the artists.
