Nancy Wilson is seeking the Democratic nomination of Dubois County Council District 3.
Wilson, 47, is a graduate of Northeast Dubois High School and graduated from Oakland City University with a masters degree in organizational management. Wilson is employed by Indiana Furniture as vice president of human resources and Safety.
“I am passionate about my community and am committed to making it a great place to live and work for future generations,” Wilson said in announcing her candidacy. “I believe that with my background in business, my roles in other organizations and dedication to Dubois County, I can be a positive voice for the people in District 3.”
As a member of St. Celestine Catholic Church, she has served as parish council president, usher and Eucharistic minister. She has also served as president of the Jasper Chamber of Commerce and is a board member for the Dubois County Community Foundation.
Wilson and her husband, Shane, live in Celestine and have one son. She is the daughter of Barbara Knies and the late Anthony Knies, Jr.
