William “Perk” Garrett Perkins, 79, of West Baden Springs, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, Sept. 8, 2019, at his residence.
He was born on Dec. 3, 1939, in Orange County to Garrett and Nancy (Logston) Perkins. Perk married Elizabeth “Libby” Qualkinbush on Dec. 30, 1960, and she survives.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother-, Kenneth Perkins; four sisters, Daphne Harrison, Thelma Ash, Judy Kimmel and Ann Hodson; and one grandson, Spencer Hoffman.
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth “Libby” Perkins, West Baden Springs; two sons, William “Chip” Garrett Perkins (Tammy) Carnegie, Oklahoma, and Troy Perkins (Kerri), Meeker, Oklahoma; one daughter, Jane Hoffman (Brook), Jasper; one sister, Cheryl “Pete” Dillard, Paoli; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
The Funeral Ceremony will be conducted by Rev. Darrell Wineinger and Rev. Chip Perkins and will follow the visitation on Wednesday, September 11, 2019, at 1 p.m. at Brosmer-Kemple Funeral Home, French Lick. Burial will follow at Mount Lebanon Cemetery.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. until the time of service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
