Boonville 58, Jasper 52: The Wildcats (3-2, 0-1) could not get a third consecutive victory on Friday in their Big Eight Conference Opener. Senior Jackson Kabrick had a game-high 17 points on the road, but Jasper was out-rebounded, 27-16, and committed 23 fouls to Boonville's 15. The Pioneers scored 24 points in the final quarter. The Wildcats will try to rebound today at Tell City.

Heritage Hills 59, Crawford County 41: The Patriots (4-1) bounced back from their 72-54 loss to Brownsburg Dec. 14. They had three players in double digits. Junior Blake Sisley led with 17 points, followed by senior Murray Becher with 16 and fellow senior Simon Scherry with 12. The Pats will try to keep it rolling today against Mount Vernon (Posey) as they are once again on their home floor.
