‘What’s Your Story’ at the Dubois library

DUBOIS — The Dubois Branch Library will host Martha Rasche, a Jasper native with 25 years of experience as a newspaper reporter and editor, as she presents “What’s Your Story — and Why to Share It” at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 14. The presentation is open to the public for free.

Join Rasche as she talks about reliving the joys, examining the struggles, and replaying the humor involved in discussing and writing life stories. She also will share samples of stories that would have been lost if people had not taken the time to write them down.

Rasche will offer people tips for writing down their experiences for themselves, their family and their friends to read.

If interested in signing up for Rasche’s upcoming eight-week Life Stories Writing Workshop (there is a fee for this workshop), talk to her after the presentation or contact Katherine Frick at the Dubois Branch Library at 812-678-2548.
