What does the Republican Party stand for?
January 15, 2021To the editor:
Who would want to be a member of today's Republican Party? Well, that would depend on what the party stands for. As far as I can make out, the Republicans stand for insurrection, xenophobia, a cult of personality, the denial of science and ascertainable facts, creating more than 600 orphans at the southern border, and, oh yeah, QAnon conspiracies about satanic elite Democrat pedophiles who eat babies and drink their blood.
It's what you call a big tent party.
