Welp wins Holy Trinity’s spelling beeDecember 16, 2019
JASPER — Holy Trinity Catholic School held its spelling bee on Wednesday, Dec. 4. The school’s winner is Levi Welp, a seventh grader in Kristi Wehr’s homeroom class. His parents are John and Lynn Welp of Jasper.
Ryan Roettger, a fifth grader in Kelly Schaefer’s homeroom, was runner-up. Ryan’s parents are Justin and Laura Roettger of Jasper.
Levi will continue to compete in the regional competition in mid-January.
