Weaving leads to traffic stop, arrest

From Local Sources

JASPER — An expired plate and erratic driving resulted in a traffic stop that ended with an arrest early Saturday.

An Indiana State Police trooper stopped a 2013 Jeep driven by Alexandria Masterson, 31, 803 W. Mary St., Holland, at 1:14 a.m. after the vehicle allegedly followed too close to other traffic and weaved in its lane of travel.

The trooper reported that Masterson’s blood alcohol content tested .09 percent and the Jeep’s license plate was expired.

Authorities booked Masterson into the Dubois County Security Center at 2:14 a.m. on a preliminary misdemeanor count of operating while intoxicated. She posted bond later in the morning.
