Water recedes off roads

The number of road sections blocked by high water is on the decline.
The Dubois County Highway Department put the number of affected roads at three today, down from seven earlier in the week.
Among the county roads to have reopened is Old Huntingburg Road and County Road 400S east and west of U.S. 231.
Roads still blocked by high water are:
• County Road 800W north of County Road 300S.
• County Road 150S west of Old Huntingburg Road.
• Ell Creek Road north of County Road 400S.
