HUNTINGBURG — Police accused a Warrick County man of impaired driving after a Monday night traffic stop on the city’s north side.

A Huntingburg Police Department officer running radar at 14th and Main streets at 10 p.m. reports clocking a 2020 Ford Fusion at 62 mph in the 40 mph zone.

The officer, who detected the odor of an alcoholic beverage, said the driver, Marshal S. Spencer, 26, Newburgh, exhibited signs of impairment, and had a blood alcohol content that tested .135% in a certified test at the Huntingburg Police Station.

Authorities booked Spencer into the Dubois County Security Center at 11:23 p.m. on a preliminary misdemeanor count of operating while intoxicated.
