JASPER — A Scott County woman was booked into jail Friday on a warrant issued May 29 after she failed to attend a court hearing.
Melissa S. McTier, 34, Scottsburg, pleaded guilty in Dubois Superior Court to Level 6 felony theft in March 2017. Her probation was revoked in the case this April and the court placed McTier on home detention with electronic monitoring at that time.
The state filed to revoke McTier’s home detention status in May and the court issued a warrant for her arrest when she did not attend a May 29 revocation hearing.
Authorities booked McTier into the Dubois County Security Center at 12:05 p.m. Friday on the active warrant. She posted bond Monday.
