JASPER — Authorities brought a Morgan County man to jail this week on a failure-to-appear warrant in a misdemeanor case.
Court records show that Richie D. Dow, 47, Martinsville, is charged in Dubois Superior Court with two misdemeanor counts of acting as a timber buyer agent without a license.
Dow did not appear for an initial hearing and the case was continued pending the finding of a current address for the defendant, according to court records.
A warrant in the case was issued last week and, on Wednesday night, authorities booked Dow into the Dubois County Security Center on the active warrant. He was released Thursday after a court appearance.
