JASPER — A Perry County man was booked into jail Sunday on a failure-to-appear warrant in a domestic battery case.
Tyler E. Griffith, 36, Tell City, was charged last year in Dubois Circuit Court with Level 6 felony strangulation and misdemeanor domestic battery and theft.
A warrant for Griffith’s failure to attend a hearing last week was issued and, at 6:18 p.m. Sunday, he was booked into the Dubois County Security Center on the active warrant. He appeared in court Monday and was released on his own recognizance on condition that he appear at all future court hearings.
