Warrant charges woman with invasion of privacy

HOLLAND — Police took a woman into custody early today on a Dubois Circuit Court warrant charging her with Level 6 felony invasion of privacy.


Kelsey R. Kelley, 28, 101422 Pike County Road 200N, Otwell, is accused of trying to gain entry Nov. 10 into the home of a Holland resident who is the protected person in a court protective order and a no-contact order.

The case was investigated by the Dubois County Sheriff’s Department and an arrest warrant was issued Nov. 16. The Dubois County Prosecutor’s Office has also filed intent to upgrade misdemeanor invasion of privacy to a Level 6 felony offense because of a prior conviction for the offense.

Indiana State Police took Kelley into custody and she was booked into the Dubois County Security Center at 2:34 a.m. today on the active warrant.
