Warrant charges woman with disorderly conduct

From Local Sources

FERDINAND — A Perry County woman turned herself in Thursday to answer to a Dubois Circuit Court warrant charging her with misdemeanor counts of disorderly conduct and criminal mischief.

The charges against Mary S. Hill, 49, Bristow, involve a Sept. 6 incident at a Ferdinand convenience store investigated by the Ferdinand Police Department.

Court documents allege Hill was loud, disruptive, angry and intimidating toward customers in the convenience store that day. She was alleged to have grabbed customers’ intended purchases, throwing food and drinks into the crash.

A warrant for Hill’s arrest was issued Sept. 18. Authorities booked her into the Dubois County Security Center at 9:19 a.m. Thursday on the warrant. She was released on her own recognizance in the afternoon.
