JASPER — Danny J. Poore, 29, of 621 Schuler Ave., Huntingburg, was taken into custody Tuesday on a Dubois Circuit Court warrant charging him with a Class D felony count of intimidation and misdemeanor counts of interference with reporting a crime and invasion of privacy.
Court records indicate the Jasper Police Department opened a case involving Poore and a female victim Saturday.
The charges contained in the warrant cover alleged incidents between October 2013 and May of this year that involved threats, grabbing and throwing the victim’s phone in an attempt to keep police from being contacted and violation of a protective order.
Authorities booked Poore into the Dubois County Security Center at 3:37 p.m. Tuesday. He made an initial court appearance Wednesday and had a preliminary plea of not guilty entered on his behalf.
