JASPER — Authorities booked a Jasper man into the Dubois County Security Center on Tuesday on a warrant charging him with dealing methamphetamine.
Court documents indicate the Jasper Police Department investigated the case against Matthew L. Hess, 24, 430 Kirkwood Dr., Jasper, with the assistance of the Dubois County Sheriff’s Department and Huntingburg Police Department.
Charging information specifically alleges that, on April 30, 2018, Hess sold 1.6 grams of methamphetamine.
An arrest warrant charging Hess with a Level 4 felony count of dealing methamphetamine was issued Nov. 5 in Dubois Superior Court.
The Dubois County Sheriff’s Department executed the warrant Tuesday morning and, once he was in custody, authorities booked Hess into the Dubois County Security Center at 8:57 a.m.
