JASPER — A Lawrence County woman was booked into jail during the weekend on a warrant charging her with drug offenses.
Charging information alleges Crystal D. Arthur, 32, Mitchell, was found to possess a syringe, a legend (prescription) drug without a prescription, a controlled substance and several glass smoking devices in January.
A warrant charging her with Level 6 felony counts of unlawful possession of a syringe and unlawful possession or use of a legend drug and misdemeanor counts of possession of a controlled substance and possession of paraphernalia was issued out of Dubois Superior Court in March.
Arthur was booked into the Dubois County Security Center at 5:49 p.m. Saturday on the active warrant. During an initial hearing Monday, the court granted Arthur’s request for pauper counsel and released her from jail with moderate pretrial monitoring conditions after setting her next hearing for Aug. 12.
