JASPER — Authorities brought a Martin County man to the Dubois County Security Center on Friday on a failure to appear warrant.
Authorities had filed a petition in August to revoke the probation of Charles T. Kline, 46, Loogootee, in a case that resulted in a misdemeanor theft conviction.
One condition of Kline’s probation was that he not commit another criminal offense. Court documents indicate he was charged with felony criminal confinement and domestic battery resulting in serious bodily injury Aug. 8 in Martin County.
When Kline did not appear at a Sept. 9 revocation hearing in Dubois County, a warrant was issued out of Dubois Circuit Court.
Authorities booked Kline into the security center at 4 p.m. Friday on the active warrant. During a court appearance Monday, Kline’s bond was set at $2,500.
