Warrant brings man to security center

From Local Sources

JASPER — Authorities brought a Jasper man to the Dubois County Security Center on Saturday on a failure to appear warrant.

Authorities had filed a petition in July to revoke the probation of Carson L. Popp, 23, 575 N. Weisheit Drive, Jasper, in July in a case involving a conviction for theft and residential entry after Popp allegedly failed a drug screen.

When Popp failed to appear for a court hearing Aug. 20, a warrant for his arrest was issued out of Dubois Circuit Court.

Authorities booked Popp into the security center Saturday on the active warrant.
