Wallace C. Conrad, 85, of Dubois, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, April 18, 2019, in Memorial Hospital in Jasper.
He was born on February 10, 1934, in Cuzco to Eldo and Lois (Thompson) Conrad. Wallace married Ruth L. Moriarty on June 8, 1979, and she passed on April 1, 1999.
He was also preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Walter and Melvin Eugene Conrad; and one sister, Irma Lee Anderson.
Wallace worked at Elmer Buchta Trucking hauling coal until he started his “retirement” job working for Owen Detective Agency.
He served in the United States Army from December 2, 1956, to December 2, 1958, where he was a part of the 4th Armed Division.
Wallace is survived by two sons, Pat Moriarty II (Christina) and Christopher Moriarty (Tabitha); one daughter, Dina Land (Tom); one sister, Laverne Dias; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
A Graveside Service will follow the visitation on Saturday, April 20, 2019, at 11:30 a.m. at Cuzco Cemetery.
Friends may call from 9 a.m. until the 11 a.m. service on Saturday, April 20, 201 at the Brosmer-Kemple Funeral Home, French Lick.
