Voting now open in 'Best Of Dubois County' contest

DUBOIS COUNTY — More than 91,000 nominations were submitted to help decide the businesses and people that appear on the final ballot in The Herald's annual Best Of Dubois County contest. Participants can now vote on that ballot to determine first, second and third place in each category.

A print ballot also appears in today's Herald.

Voting online ends at 11 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 26. Paper ballots must be returned to The Herald by 5 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 27.

Last year's contest attracted more than 250,000 votes to determine the area winners in more than 100 categories. This year's contest has grown to more than 130 categories.

After this year's voting is complete, the winners will be announced in a special magazine delivered to Herald subscribers and distributed to tourist areas in Dubois County and beyond. That magazine will also be available online on our website and our social media channels.
