Viva M. Good, 82, of Jasper, passed away Thursday, February 13, 2020, at Cathedral Health Care Center in Jasper.
She was born October 17, 1937, in Eckerty to John Lloyd and Bertha (Flick) Atkins.
She had worked as a nurse’s aide at The Huntingburg Convalescent Center.
She loved children and liked to bake, cook and knit.
Viva is preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Angie Cox; a sister, Judy Murray; and by an infant grandson.
Viva is survived by her children, Richard Dooley Jr., Larry Dooley, Debra Cox, Brenda Carter, Marie Wright and Stephanie Cox; siblings, Kathy Hoffman, who was also her caregiver, Marie Hammond, Ruby Lane, Lou Buening, Jayne Wininger, Debbie Caldemeyer and Ray Atkins; grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Viva Good will be held on Sunday, February 16, at 2 p.m. ET with visitation from noon to 2 p.m. prior to the funeral service at Nass and Son Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Wickliffe Cemetery. Pastor Al Madden will officiate the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made toward funeral expenses.
