Virginia Brown, 93, of Eddyville, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, December 8, 2018 at Ray & Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center in Paducah, Kentucky. 

She was born in Dycusburg, Kentucky.

She was retired from Jasper Desk Co. and a member of First Baptist Church in Jasper.

Survivors include one son, Rodney Brown & wife, Martha, Newburgh; one daughter, Jackie Brames & husband, Marvin, Greenwood; one daughter-in-law, Cheryl Brown, Monroe, Ohio; two brothers, Don Green & wife, Phyllis, Mayfield, Kentucky, and Kerry Green & wife, Sandy, Dycusburg, Kentucky; one sister-in-law, Juanita Green, Lyon County, Kentucky; one brother-in-law, Jim Chaney, Dycusburg, Kentucky; seven grandchildren, Brian Brames & wife, Jill, Amanda Kammer & husband, Dicky, Emily Lykins & husband, Dustin, Elizabeth McComb & husband, Monte, Brittney Brown, Haylie Brown and Aaron Brown; eight great-grandchildren, Madelyn, Isaac, Griffin, Evelyn, Mia, Delilah, Lennon and Matteo; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Rodney Brown; her parents, Tom and Mae Henry Green; one son, Tom Brown; five brothers; Ronnie, J.C., Duke, Luther and Oscar Green; and three sisters, Joann Chaney, Betty Guier and Nancy Rideout.

Visitation will be Friday, December 14, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Lakeland Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Eddyville. Celebration of Life service will be Saturday, December 15, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Asbridge Cemetery in Crittenden County.
