Vigil puts light on detention camps

One-DC invites the public to attend Lights for Liberty: A Vigil to End Human Detention Camps on Friday, July 12, on the east side of the Dubois County Courthouse.

Beginning at 8:30 p.m., advocates (including Sister Joan Scheller), activists and impacted people will speak on the issue of human detention camps in the United States. At 9 p.m., across the U.S. and around the world, participants will light candles in a silent vigil for all those held in U.S. detention camps to bring light to the darkness of this horrific practice.
