HUNTINGBURG — The Evansville Vet Center plans to open a Huntingburg branch next week, with a focus on readjustment counseling.
Services will be offered starting at noon Tuesday in the rear of the Sherer Family Medicine building, 7240 S. U.S. 231. The entrance and parking area also are in the rear of the building.
Readjustment counselor James League will provide the services, including individual and group counseling for combat veterans and their families, bereavement counseling, military sexual trauma counseling, and screenings and referrals for mental health conditions.
Services will be available from noon until 6 p.m. Tuesdays. Veterans seeking services are asked to make appointments by calling the Evansville center at 812-473-5993.
