Velma Ruth Carver, 90, formerly of Lamar, passed away on Tuesday, February 12, 2019, at her home in Boonville.
Velma was born on March 8, 1928, in Lamar to the late Earl Elmer and Adia Velma (Hinton) Harris.
She is preceded in death by her parents; he husband, Leonard Carver; and a son, Stephen Carver.
Velma is survived by her children, Marvin Carver (Jacque); Daniel Carver (Sharon); Keith Carver; Martha Jane Wilson (Donnie); Leola Fischer (Greg); brother, William Roger Harris (Brenda); and 61 in total grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be 10 a.m. on Friday, February 15, 2019, at Koehler Funeral Home in Boonville, with Pastor Bob Duley officiating. Burial will be at Little Pigeon Cemetery in Lamar.
Visitation will be from 3 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Thursday, February 14, 2019, at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Little Pigeon Cemetery Fund.
