Vehicles totaled in Jasper mishap

JASPER — A passenger car and a pickup truck were considered total losses after a collision Thursday on First Avenue.
Sharon Lechner, 63, Jasper, was westbound on First Avenue in a 2017 Ford Mustang near Jasper Rubber at the time of the 9:27 a.m. accident, according to the Jasper Police Department.
An officer said the Lechner Mustang struck the rear, driver-side tire area of a 2004 Ford F-150 driven by Alice McCollom, 39, Jasper.
No injuries were reported and no citations were issued but both vehicles were estimated to have been totaled.
The Ruxer Ford tow service assisted.
