Vehicles collide at Pine Ridge Road

KYANA — No injuries were reported when vehicles collided Monday evening at Pine Ridge Road.
Eric J. Birk, 25, Birdseye, was eastbound on State Road 64 in a 2006 Cadillac Catera when the 7:51 p.m. mishap occurred at Pine Ridge Road, according to the Dubois County Sheriff’s Office.
Birk had slowed and was preparing to turn northbound onto Pine Ridge Road when his car was rear-ended by a 1995 Chevrolet driven by Maylin R. Wall, 23, Monon, according to the sheriff’s office. A deputy said the Wall vehicle had an obstructed windshield and bad brakes.
Damage was estimated between $2,500 and $5,000.
