HUNTINGBURG — Both drivers were treated at the scene and one was transported for further treatment after a car-versus-minivan collision Tuesday night at the Holland Junction.
Jayme Blackgrove, 41, Huntingburg, was westbound on State Road 64 and turning south onto State Road 161 in a 2008 Toyota Camry at the time of the 8:08 p.m. accident, according to the Dubois County Sheriff’s Office.
Blackgrove turned into the path of an eastbound 2007 Dodge Caravan driven by Brittany N. Holsman, 33, St. Croix, according to the sheriff’s office.
An ambulance transported Blackgrove for medical treatment but Holsman declined to be transported, according to police.
Damage was estimated between $2,500 and $5,000.
The Huntingburg Volunteer Fire Department and Memorial Hospital Emergency Medical Services assisted.
